MYDS18B20 Digital Temperature Sensor Series
The MYDS18B20 series are digital mixed-signal temperature sensing chips. They offer high accuracy, good consistency, low power consumption, flexible programmable configuration, and long lifespan without user calibration. Based on CMOS semiconductor PN junction temperature and bandgap voltage characteristics, these chips provide digital bus output after small signal amplification, analog-to-digital conversion, and digital calibration compensation. The integrated 14-bit ADC offers a resolution of 0.0125C, with a default factory configuration of 12-bit ADC and an operating range of -55C to +125C. Each chip is 100% tested and calibrated before shipment, with internal automatic compensation calculations. The single-bus communication protocol simplifies system integration, requiring only one GPIO port for read/write access. This allows for cost-effective multi-node sensing and networking with long transmission distances, supporting up to 100 nodes in series over 100 to 500 meters. Built-in non-volatile E2PROM stores chip ID, high/low temperature alarm thresholds, calibration correction values, and user-defined information.
