Basic Characteristics
- Zero-power resistance at a specified ambient temperature.
- Rated power indicates the electric power required to raise the thermistor temperature to a specified temperature when the ambient temperature is 25C.
- Allowable operating current is the current that keeps the thermistor's self-heating temperature rise below 1C.
- Thermal diffusion constant indicates the power required to raise the thermistor temperature by 1C due to self-heating.
- Thermal time constant is the time required for the thermistor temperature to change by 63.2% of the total temperature change when the ambient temperature changes from T0 to T1.
- B constant is calculated between two specified ambient temperatures.
