Product Overview
The PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) Thermistor, also known as POSISTORr, is a thermally sensitive resistor designed for surface mounting applications. It is used for overheat sensing and overcurrent protection in various electronic devices. The POSISTORr offers advantages such as noise-free operation, no contact problems, low price, reduced component count, lower mounting costs, and space-saving for high-density PCB mounting compared to bimetal devices and Zener diodes.
