The MTDC-GP22S is a high-precision time measurement circuit integrating analog comparators, analog switches, and Schmitt triggers to simplify peripheral circuitry. It features a first echo detection function for enhanced anti-interference capabilities. By reading the relative width of the first echo pulse, users can receive signal strength indications, aiding in the detection of anomalies such as abnormal ultrasonic transducers, increased wall coverings, or air bubbles in water. The device supports ultrasonic time-of-flight (TOF) measurements (flow and counter-flow) and data reading via commands, significantly reducing software operation and power consumption.
