Product Overview
The EMC1822/23/24/25/43 are high-accuracy, two-wire (I2C) temperature sensors with resistor-programmable system shutdown. These devices monitor up to five temperature channels, offering advanced features like Resistance Error Correction (REC), Beta Compensation, and rate of temperature change measurement for robust environmental monitoring. The Rate of Change (ROC) measurement with associated alerts provides preemptive system alerts for managing variable system temperatures. REC automatically corrects errors caused by series resistance, and Beta compensation addresses temperature errors from low, variable beta transistors in processors. The automatic beta detection simplifies sensor configuration. With 1C measurement accuracy for both external and internal diode temperatures, these sensors provide a low-cost, highly flexible, and accurate solution for critical temperature monitoring applications.
