Microchip EMC1413/EMC1414 Multiple Channel 1C Temperature Sensors with Beta Compensation

The EMC1413/EMC1414 are high accuracy, low cost, System Management Bus (SMBus) temperature sensors designed for complex environmental monitoring applications. They feature Resistance Error Correction (REC) and Beta Compensation to accurately measure temperatures from CPU diodes requiring the BJT/transistor model, even with varying transistor betas common in modern processors. Automatic diode type detection simplifies configuration, making these sensors a flexible and accurate solution for critical temperature monitoring in notebook computers, desktop computers, industrial, and embedded applications.
