Microchip MCP9800/1/2/3 Digital Temperature Sensor
The Microchip MCP9800/1/2/3 family of digital temperature sensors are highly accurate, 12-bit resolution devices designed to convert temperature into a digital word. They offer user-selectable resolution from 9 to 12 bits and operate over a wide voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V. Featuring a 2-wire I2C/SMBus compatible interface, these sensors are ideal for a variety of applications including personal computers, servers, hard disk drives, entertainment systems, office equipment, and mobile phones. The sensors provide power-saving one-shot temperature measurements and an alert output that can be configured as an active-low or active-high comparator or an interrupt output. Their flexibility in configuration and high accuracy make them suitable for sophisticated multi-zone temperature monitoring.
