Product Overview
The EMC1822/23/24/25/43 devices are high-accuracy, two-wire (I2C) temperature sensors with resistor-programmable system shutdown. These devices monitor up to five temperature channels, offering advanced features like Resistance Error Correction (REC), Beta Compensation, and rate of temperature change measurement for robust environmental monitoring. The Rate of Change (ROC) measurement with associated alerts provides preemptive system alerts and an additional protective layer for managing variable system temperatures. REC automatically eliminates temperature errors caused by series resistance, while Beta compensation corrects errors from low, variable beta transistors in processors. These features, combined with 1C measurement accuracy for both external and internal diode temperatures, deliver a low-cost, highly flexible, and accurate solution for critical temperature monitoring applications.
