The Atmel AT30TS75A is a precise digital temperature sensor designed for accurate local temperature monitoring in various applications. It integrates a high-precision sensor, programmable temperature alarms, and a 2-wire I2C/SMBus serial interface. The device offers a wide temperature measurement range (-55C to +125C) with high accuracy (typically 0.5C from 0C to +85C). It features user-configurable resolution, temperature limits, and an ALERT output for alarms. The AT30TS75A supports SMBus Timeout, Alert, and ARA, with selectable addressing for up to eight devices on the same bus. It is compatible with I2C High-Speed mode (3.4MHz) and includes built-in noise suppression. Low power consumption is achieved through an active current of 85A (typical) and a shutdown mode with 1A shutdown current (typical). The device also supports a One-Shot mode for single measurements while in shutdown. It is pin and software compatible with industry-standard LM75-type devices and available in RoHS-compliant packages.
