Product Overview
The MIC281 is a digital thermal sensor designed for low-cost and small-size applications, capable of measuring the temperature of a remote PN junction. It is optimized for use with inexpensive commodity transistors or embedded thermal diodes found in CPUs and FPGAs. The device features an I2C and SMBus 2.0-compatible serial interface with voltage-tolerant I/Os and a low power shutdown mode. Its advanced analog front-end and integrating A/D converter provide excellent noise rejection for accurate remote sensing.
