The EMC1413/EMC1414 are high accuracy, low cost, System Management Bus (SMBus) temperature sensors designed for complex environmental monitoring applications. They feature Resistance Error Correction (REC), Beta Compensation for CPU diodes requiring the BJT/transistor model, and automatic diode type detection, ensuring robust performance. The EMC1413 monitors three temperature channels, while the EMC1414 monitors four, both offering 1C accuracy for internal and external diode temperatures. These sensors provide flexibility in thermal diode routing and accurate temperature measurements across various processor technologies without requiring unique configurations. Ideal for Notebook Computers, Desktop Computers, Industrial, and Embedded applications.
