The EMC1412 is a high-accuracy, low-cost, System Management Bus (SMBus) temperature sensor designed for robust environmental monitoring. It features advanced capabilities like Resistance Error Correction (REC) and Beta Compensation to accurately measure temperatures from both external and internal diodes, supporting CPU diodes requiring the BJT/transistor model. The device automatically detects external diode types and optimizes sensor settings, eliminating the need for manual configuration. With 1C accuracy and 0.125C resolution, it is ideal for applications in notebook computers, desktop computers, industrial, and embedded systems.
