The MagnTek MT6816 is a zero-latency magnetic angle position sensor IC utilizing advanced AMR technology for 0-360 full-range angle sensing. It offers high resolution (14-bit core, up to 1024 pulses per revolution for ABZ output), a maximum rotation speed of 25,000 RPM, and a propagation delay of less than 2 s. With an industrial operating temperature range of -40 to 125C and AECQ-100 qualification, the MT6816 is suitable for demanding applications. It supports multiple output interfaces including ABZ, UVW, PWM, and SPI, making it an ideal replacement for optical encoders in BLDC motor control, servo motor control, and stepping motor control.
