Product Overview
The Magntek MT6701 is a next-generation magnetic angle sensor chip based on differential Hall effect principles. It offers 0-360 absolute angle position detection with high accuracy and a system delay of less than 5 s. The chip supports a wide operating voltage range (3.3V-5.0V) and features multiple output interfaces including I2C, SSI, ABZ, UVW, analog voltage, PWM, and Z-axis press detection. With a maximum rotational speed of 55,000 RPM and excellent immunity to stray magnetic fields, the MT6701 is an ideal replacement for traditional optical encoders and switch Hall commutation in applications such as absolute angle position sensing, closed-loop stepper and BLDC control, robotic joint control, and non-contact rotary knobs and buttons.
