The Magntek MT6501 is a next-generation absolute angle position sensor IC based on advanced Anisotropic Magnetoresistance (AMR) technology. It provides non-contact 0-360 angle position detection with high reliability and is suitable for industrial and automotive applications. The chip integrates two pairs of AMR Wheatstone bridges and specialized signal processing circuits. It offers programmable detection ranges and output curves, with selectable analog, PWM, and switch outputs. The MT6501 features overvoltage and overcurrent protection, a single-wire programming interface, and a 3-wire SPI interface. It is available in SOP-8 and TSSOP-16 packages, both compliant with EU RoHS regulations.
