MLX90821 Relative Pressure Sensor IC
The MLX90821 is a high-accuracy relative pressure sensor IC designed for automotive applications. It offers a ratiometric analog output or a digital SENT output, with optional compensated NTC temperature information. The device integrates a MEMS sensor, analog front-end circuitry, a 16-bit microcontroller, analog back-end circuitry, and voltage regulators into a single package. It is suitable for measuring very low pressures and is built to withstand stringent automotive temperature and stress conditions with minimal drift over its lifespan. Key advantages include high accuracy, a wide automotive temperature range (-40C to 150C), automotive qualification with diagnostic features, and factory calibration or full programmability for customized calibration curves. The back-side exposed sensor enhances resistance to common automotive media.
