Product Overview

The Magntek MT6825 is a next-generation high-resolution, high-speed magnetic angle encoder IC based on advanced Anisotropic Magnetoresistance (AMR) technology. It offers 0-360 absolute angle position detection with 18-bit resolution and supports rotational speeds up to 25,000 RPM. The IC features low system latency ( 2 s) and operates reliably within a -40 to 125 temperature range. It provides versatile output options including incremental ABZ, incremental UVW, absolute PWM, and SPI bus output. The MT6825 is designed to be insensitive to magnet processing and mechanical installation errors, making it an ideal replacement for traditional optical encoders in applications such as DC brushless motor control, servo motor control, and closed-loop stepper motor control.
