The MagnTek MT6701 is a Hall-based angle position encoder sensor designed for 0 to 360 full-range angle sensing. It operates on a 3.3V to 5.0V power supply and offers versatile output interfaces including I2C, SSI, ABZ, UVW, Analog/PWM, and a Push-Button function. With a maximum rotation speed of 55,000 RPM and a low propagation delay of 5 s, the MT6701 is suitable for applications requiring precise angle measurement. Its programmable incremental ABZ resolution (1-1024 PPR) and UVW resolution (1-16 pole-pairs per revolution) make it a flexible alternative to optical encoders. The device is RoHS compliant and available in SOP-8 and QFN-16 packages. Applications include absolute linear position sensing, robotics control, contactless knobs, and contactless potentiometers.
