Product Description

The MT883X family of Hall-Effect Switch ICs, manufactured using CMOS technology, are omni-polar and nano-power devices designed for detecting magnetic fields. They internally integrate high-sensitivity horizontal Hall plates, sleep/awake logic for mode control, a low-power on-chip oscillator, a low-noise analog signal chain with dynamic offset cancellation, hysteresis comparators, and an output driver. These ICs respond to both North and South pole magnetic fields. The output turns ON (Low) when the magnetic flux density exceeds the operating point (BOP) and turns OFF (High) when it falls below the releasing point (BRP). The MT883X family is available in various packages including DFN, SOT-23 for surface mount, and flat TO-92 for through-hole mounting. These devices are suitable for applications such as home appliances, industrial equipment, position detection, solid-state switches, proximity switches, smart meters, handheld devices, and consumer electronics.
