Soldering Information

Method Conditions Remark
DIP Soldering Bath temperature: 260 max, Immersion time: within 5 sec, 1 time Solder no closer than 2mm from the base of the package. Using soldering flux, RESIN FLUX is recommended.
Soldering Iron Soldering iron: 30W or smaller, Temperature at tip of iron: 300 or lower, Soldering time: within 3 sec. During soldering, take care not to press the tip of iron against the PIN (To prevent heat from being transferred directly to the PIN.)

Storage Conditions

Store in an environment with temperature below 30 and humidity below 70% RH for up to 3 months. Avoid environments with corrosive gases that may cause oxidation, loss of luster, or discoloration of the lead frames, which can lead to soldering difficulties. Prevent rapid transitions in ambient temperature, especially in high humidity environments where condensation can occur.

The product is sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD); use grounded wrist straps, ESD footwear, clothing, floors, and workstation equipment. Ensure proper grounding for all devices, equipment, and machinery. Consider surge protection in product design. LEDs should be operated with forward bias; the driving circuit must prevent forward or reverse voltage when the LED is off to avoid damage.
