The Littelfuse 55505 is a robust flange mounting Hall effect sensor designed for geartooth speed sensing. It is protected against severe and automotive environments, capable of switching up to 27Vdc and 20mA, and available as a three-wire (voltage output) version. Its case design includes a brass mounting bush, making it ideal for wheel, transmission, and camshaft speed sensing, geartooth sensors, rotary encoders, and industrial, commercial, and automotive applications. Key features include ferrous target speed sensing, internal circuit protection, self-adjusting magnetic range, and high-speed operation with short circuit and reverse voltage protection.
