Product Overview
The Magntek MT6501 is a next-generation absolute angle position sensor IC based on advanced Anisotropic Magnetoresistance (AMR) technology. It offers high-reliability non-contact angle measurement with 0-360 detection range. The chip integrates two pairs of AMR Wheatstone bridges and specialized signal processing circuits, making it robust against magnet manufacturing errors and installation distance variations. It features over-voltage and over-current protection, programmable detection range and output curves, and offers selectable analog, PWM, and switch outputs with 12-bit resolution for analog/PWM. The MT6501 is suitable for industrial and automotive applications such as throttle position detection, steering wheel angle sensing, and pedal position monitoring.
