Product Overview

The Magntek MT6501 is a next-generation angle position sensor IC based on advanced Anisotropic Magnetoresistance (AMR) technology. It offers 0-360 absolute angle position detection with high reliability and non-contact measurement. The chip integrates two pairs of AMR Wheatstone bridges and specialized signal processing circuitry. It features overvoltage and overcurrent protection, programmable detection range and output curves, and offers flexible output options including analog, PWM, and switch outputs with 12-bit resolution for analog/PWM. The MT6501 is suitable for industrial and automotive applications requiring non-contact in-shaft position sensing, such as throttle position, steering wheel angle, and pedal position detection.
