The MagnTek MT6816 is a zero-latency magnetic angle position sensor IC utilizing advanced AMR technology for 0-360 full-range angle sensing. It offers high resolution, a maximum rotation speed of 25,000 RPM, and a propagation delay of less than 2 s. Designed for industrial operating temperatures (-40 to 125C), the MT6816 supports multiple output interfaces including ABZ, UVW, PWM, and SPI. Its robustness against magnet variations, stray fields, air gap changes, and off-axis misalignment makes it an ideal replacement for optical encoders in applications such as BLDC motor control, servo motor control, stepping motor control, and general absolute angle position sensing.
