Product Overview
The Littelfuse DRS-50 is a standard, normally open (SPST-NO) high power reed switch designed for demanding applications. It features a hermetically sealed glass envelope, ensuring reliable operation unaffected by its external environment. This switch is capable of high voltage and power switching, handling up to 400Vdc at 2mA, with a carry current of 6A and a maximum switching power of 100W/VA. Its high insulation resistance (1010 ohms minimum) and low contact resistance (less than 100 milliohms) make it suitable for security systems, limit switching, industrial applications, and white goods. The DRS-50 offers zero operating power for contact closure and is capable of switching European mains voltage.
