Surface Mount Thermistors NSS Series
The NSS series surface-mount, MELF-style, glass-encapsulated thermistors are manufactured using stable NTC chips hermetically sealed in a glass package. These thermistors offer excellent long-term reliability and stability, making them suitable for applications where interchangeability eliminates the need for individual circuit calibration. Their uniform dimensions are ideal for automatic insertion equipment. The NSS series is cost-effective and available with options like non-standard resistance values and tolerances, tape and reel packaging, and point-matching at specified temperatures for consistent performance. They are moisture-proof, miniature, and offer higher density for connections with a high temperature capability up to +220 C.
