Product Overview
The Littelfuse 55250 Series is a rotary absolute position sensor designed for angular measurement from 0 to 105 degrees, with an option for full 360-degree movement. Utilizing non-contact magnetic Hall Effect technology, it offers superior durability and performance compared to traditional wiper-based resistive sensors, as it is immune to mechanical wear and contamination. Its robust design is suitable for harsh industrial and commercial vehicle environments, operating within a temperature range of -40C to 125C. The sensor includes automotive-grade EMI/EMC and reverse polarity protection, and mates with a Delphi type sealed connector. Key applications include pedal position sensing, absolute rotary encoding, shaft and lever positioning, and float level sensing.
