Product Overview
The Littelfuse 59140 is a miniature flange mount reed sensor designed for position and limit sensing applications. Occupying only 3.22cm (0.500) of board space, it offers a choice of normally open, normally open high voltage, normally closed, or changeover contacts. Its case design supports screw or adhesive mounting, with wires exiting from the top right or left (59141 Series). The sensor is hermetically sealed, ensuring reliable operation in contaminated environments, and requires no standby power. It can switch up to 265Vac/300Vdc at 10VA and functions optimally with the matching 57140 actuator. Ideal for security systems, linear actuators, and door switches, it operates through non-ferrous materials like wood, plastic, and aluminum.
