Product Overview
The Littelfuse 59085 Vane Sensor is a reed vane sensor with an integrated actuator magnet, designed for position and limit sensing, security, linear actuator, industrial process control, and shaft rotation applications. Actuation occurs when a suitable low carbon steel vane passes through the slot between the magnet and switch. It offers a choice of normally open, normally closed, high voltage normally closed, or changeover contacts, capable of switching up to 265Vac/300Vdc at 10VA. Key benefits include hermetically sealed, magnetically operated contacts that ensure long-term reliability even in contaminated environments, and quick, reliable single-screw mounting. The sensor requires no standby power.
