Product Overview
The Littelfuse DRS-50 is a standard, normally open, high-power reed switch featuring a 50.80mm long x 5.25mm diameter glass envelope. It is designed for high voltage and power switching applications, capable of handling up to 400Vdc at 2mA, carrying 6A, and switching up to 100W/VA. The switch offers high insulation resistance (1010 ohms minimum) and low contact resistance (less than 100 milliohms). Its hermetically sealed contacts ensure reliable operation unaffected by the external environment. The DRS-50 is suitable for applications such as security, limit switching, industrial uses, and white goods, and can switch European mains voltage with zero operating power required for contact closure.
