Product Overview
The Littelfuse DRS-50 is a standard, normally open (Form A, SPST-NO) high-power reed switch designed for demanding applications. It features a hermetically sealed glass envelope, ensuring reliable operation unaffected by its environment. Capable of switching high voltages up to 400Vdc and power up to 100W/VA, it can carry up to 6A and switch 3.0A. With a minimum insulation resistance of 1010 ohms and low contact resistance (<100 m), the DRS-50 is suitable for security, limit switching, industrial applications, and white goods. It offers a sensitivity range of 42-83 Ampere-Turns (AT) and a voltage breakdown of 600Vdc.

Note on Contact Rating: Product of switching voltage and current should not exceed wattage rating. Contact Littelfuse for additional load/life information.
Note on Switching Loads: When switching inductive and/or capacitive loads, consider transient voltages/currents. Refer to Application Notes AN108A and AN107.
Note on Electrical Load Life: Contact Littelfuse with voltage, current values, and load type.
Note on Breakdown Voltage: Per MIL-STD-202, Method 301.
Note on Storage Temperature: Long-term exposure at elevated temperatures may degrade solderability of leads.
