The Littelfuse DRS-50 is a standard, normally open (Form A, SPST-NO) high-power reed switch designed for demanding applications. It features a hermetically sealed glass envelope, ensuring reliable operation unaffected by the external environment. Capable of switching high voltages up to 400Vdc and handling significant power up to 100W/VA, it also boasts a high current carrying capacity of 6A. With a minimum insulation resistance of 10¹⁰ ohms and low contact resistance, the DRS-50 is suitable for security, limit switching, industrial applications, and white goods. Its design allows for switching European mains voltage and requires zero operating power for contact closure.
