The LTR-381RGB-WA is an integrated low voltage I2C ambient light sensor (ALS) and a color sensor (CS) in a single 2x2mm miniature ChipLED lead-free surface mount package. It converts light (Red, Green, Blue, and IR) intensity to a digital output signal with direct I2C interface. The ALS offers a linear response over a wide dynamic range, suitable for varying ambient brightness. Features a programmable interrupt with hysteresis to improve system efficiency. Its CMOS design and factory-set trimming ensure minimal sensor-to-sensor variations for ease of manufacturability. Ideal for controlling display panel brightness and color in mobile, computing, and consumer devices.
