The LTR-X140A is an integrated low voltage I2C ambient light sensor (ALS) in a miniature 2.84mm x 1.44mm x 0.7mm chipled surface mount package. It offers a linear response across a wide dynamic range, making it suitable for applications with varying ambient brightness, from very low to very bright conditions. Its CMOS design and factory-set trimming ensure minimal sensor-to-sensor variation, simplifying manufacturing for end customers. The primary application is to control display panel brightness.
