Product Description
The LTR-568ALS-01 is an integrated, low-voltage I2C ambient light sensor (ALS) and proximity sensor (PS) with a built-in emitter, all within a miniature chipled lead-free surface mount package. The ALS offers a linear response across a wide dynamic range, suitable for varying ambient brightness conditions. The integrated proximity sensor allows for user-configurable object detection distances. Features include a programmable interrupt with hysteresis to enhance system efficiency by eliminating the need for constant polling. Its CMOS design and factory-set trimming ensure minimal sensor-to-sensor variation. Applications include display panel brightness control and object detection in mobile, computing, and consumer devices.
