The KP256 is a miniaturized Digital Barometric Air Pressure Sensor IC utilizing a capacitive principle. Designed with surface micromachining and integrated BiCMOS signal conditioning, it converts pressure into a 10-bit digital value and communicates via SPI. An integrated temperature sensor also provides 10-bit digital temperature readings. The sensor features a diagnostic mode for testing sensor cells and signal paths, a power-down mode for reduced consumption, and is housed in a green SMD package.
