Product Overview
The H21A_ and H22A_ series are single-channel optoelectronic slotted interrupter switches featuring a Gallium Arsenide infrared emitting diode and an NPN silicon phototransistor. Designed with a polycarbonate housing, these devices offer optimized mechanical resolution, coupling efficiency, ambient light rejection, and reliability. They operate by interrupting infrared light transmission with opaque objects, switching the output from an "ON" state to an "OFF" state. Key advantages include high gain and a 3mm gap between the LED and detector, with the polycarbonate case providing protection against ambient light. These switches are suitable for applications in copiers, printers, facsimilies, record players, cassette decks, and as general optoelectronic switches.
