Product Overview
The CY8CMBR2010 CapSense Express is a hardware-configurable capacitive touch sensing controller designed to simplify the integration of capacitive touch interfaces. It eliminates the need for software tools, firmware coding, or device programming, significantly reducing development time and cost. Featuring Cypress's SmartSense Auto-Tuning algorithm, it ensures optimal button performance even in noisy environments by dynamically setting CapSense parameters at runtime. This controller supports up to ten capacitive touch sensing buttons and ten General Purpose Outputs (GPOs), which can be directly linked to buttons for driving LEDs or other functions. Its wide operating voltage range (1.71 V to 5.5 V) makes it suitable for both regulated and unregulated battery applications, and its low power consumption extends battery life. Advanced features like Noise Immunity, Flanking Sensor Suppression (FSS), System Diagnostics, and Serial Debug Data output enhance robustness, user experience, and simplify production testing.
