SP40PLUS Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor

Product Overview

The SP40PLUS is a highly integrated Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor designed for automotive applications. It features a patented Glass-Silicon-Glass MEMS pressure sensor with excellent media compatibility, a calibrated absolute air pressure sensor, and a Z-axis accelerometer for motion and angular measurement. Integrated temperature and supply voltage sensors, along with an 8051 microcontroller with 12K Flash memory, provide comprehensive monitoring capabilities. The system controller offers flexible wake-up and power management, while the RF transmitter supports fractional-N sigma-delta PLL for precise frequency control. Unique firmware functions enable angular wheel position determination for tire localization (APS). An integrated LF receiver allows for diagnostic commands and modulated telegram reception. This sensor is optimized for valve-based and in-tire TPMS modules, suitable for OEM, aftermarket, and retrofit applications.
