High Precision Hall Effect Latches for Industrial and Consumer Applications
Product Overview
The TLI4946xy series are high-precision Hall Effect latches designed for industrial and consumer applications, offering highly accurate switching thresholds even at ambient operating temperatures up to 125C. These devices operate from a wide supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 18 V and feature reverse battery protection. They are characterized by high sensitivity, stable magnetic switching points, and robust resistance to mechanical stress through active error compensation. The digital output signal is open-drain, and the devices are not suitable for automotive applications. They are ideal for detecting rotor positions in Brushless DC (BLDC) motors used in air conditioning systems, pumps, washing machines, DVD players, and rolling shutters, as well as for reliable index counting with small pole wheels and large air gaps.
