Product Overview

The TLE4998S is a programmable linear Hall sensor designed for highly accurate rotation and position detection, as well as current measurement applications. It features a digital SENT signal output (SAE J2716) with 20-bit Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and digital temperature compensation, offering 16-bit overall resolution. The sensor operates within automotive temperature ranges with low drift over temperature and lifetime. Programmable parameters stored in EEPROM, including SENT unit time, magnetic range, sensitivity, offset, bandwidth, clamping levels, and customer temperature compensation coefficients, allow for flexible configuration. It supports multiple sensors on a common power supply and offers two-point calibration without iteration steps. The device is highly immune to mechanical stress, EMC, and ESD.
