TLE4998P3 / TLE4998P4 Programmable Linear Hall Sensor
The TLE4998P is a programmable linear Hall sensor designed for highly accurate rotation and position detection, as well as current measurement applications. It provides a digital PWM signal suitable for direct decoding by microcontrollers. The sensor offers digital signal processing with 20-bit resolution and digital temperature compensation, ensuring excellent long-time stability. Its programmability via EEPROM allows for customization of various parameters including PWM output frequency, magnetic range, sensitivity (gain), polarity, offset, bandwidth, clamping levels, and temperature compensation coefficients. The device features an open-drain output stage, reverse polarity protection, overvoltage protection, output short-circuit protection, and on-board diagnostics. It is an ideal, robust replacement for potentiometers, offering resistance to environmental factors and eliminating mechanical abrasion.
