HX6232 High Sensitivity Unipolar Hall Switch
The HX6232 is a unipolar Hall-effect integrated circuit designed for magnetic sensing applications. It features reverse power supply protection, an internal voltage regulator, Hall voltage generator, differential amplifier, Schmitt trigger, and an open-collector output stage. This device operates as a magnetic sensor, converting magnetic field strength into a digital voltage signal. It is specifically designed for single-pole operation, making it suitable for use with rectangular or cylindrical magnets. The HX6232 operates across a wide temperature range of -40 to 125 and a supply voltage range of 2.5V to 24V. The open-collector output can sink up to 20mA. Available in SOT-23 and TO-92S packages, both of which are halogen-free compliant.

Sensing Direction
The HX6232 is sensitive to magnetic fields perpendicular to the chip surface, entering from the bottom or exiting from the top. The SOT-23 package is sensitive to the N pole when viewed from the top (marked side), while the TO-92S package is sensitive to the S pole.
