Product Overview
The HX6659 series is a proportional linear Hall effect sensor that provides an analog output proportional to magnetic flux density. It integrates a Hall sensor, linear amplifier, and CMOS output stage, offering high speed and low-noise characteristics with linear performance across a wide temperature range (-40 to 125). The sensor is suitable for various magnetic field detection applications in consumer and industrial sectors. It features a wide operating voltage range, with a quiescent output at VCC/2 when no magnetic field is present. The output linearly varies with applied magnetic flux density, and four sensitivity options allow for maximum output voltage swing based on the required detection range. Both North and South poles produce unique voltage outputs. The HX6659 detects flux perpendicular to the top of the package and is available in SOT-23 and TO-92S packages for different sensing orientations.
