Product Overview
The HT18B20A is a programmable resolution 1-Wire digital thermometer compatible with the DS18B20. It offers 9-bit to 12-bit Celsius temperature measurements with a user-programmable alarm function for nonvolatile upper and lower trigger points. Communication is established over a single data line (1-Wire bus), and the device can derive power directly from this line ("parasite power"), eliminating the need for an external power supply. Each HT18B20A features a unique 64-bit serial code, enabling multiple devices on the same bus for distributed temperature monitoring in applications such as HVAC, building environmental controls, equipment monitoring, and process control systems.
