Product Overview

The Honeywell HEL-700 Series Thin Film Platinum RTDs are designed for critical temperature monitoring and control in industrial applications. These sensors offer a linear change in resistance versus temperature, providing high linearity, stability, accuracy, and a wide temperature range within a compact, fast-response package. Engineered for reliable performance from -75 C to 540 C [-100 F to 1000 F], the HEL-700 Series features fully assembled, ready-to-use elements that eliminate the need for fragile splices to extension leads. Manufactured using a thin layer of platinum deposited on an alumina substrate and laser trimmed for precise interchangeability, these RTDs are glassed, wired, and potted or ceramic fired into a cylindrical alumina package with either TFE Teflon or fiberglass-insulated lead wires.
