Product Overview
The Honeywell HEL-700 Series Thin Film Platinum RTDs are designed for critical temperature monitoring and control in industrial applications. These Resistance Temperature Detectors offer a linear change in resistance versus temperature, providing high linearity, stability, accuracy, and a wide temperature range in a compact, fast-response package. They are ideal for measuring temperatures from -75 C to 540 C [-100 F to 1000 F]. The fully-assembled, ready-to-use elements eliminate the need for fragile splices to extension leads. Manufactured with a thin layer of platinum deposited on an alumina substrate and laser trimmed, these RTDs are available with standard 0.2% or optional 0.1% interchangeability. The sensor chip is glassed, wired, and potted or ceramic fired into a cylindrical alumina package, featuring either TFE Teflon- or fiberglass-insulated lead wires.
