Product Overview
The MPR Series are compact, high-accuracy, compensated/amplified board mount pressure sensors designed for a wide range of medical (consumer and non-consumer) and commercial appliance applications. These piezoresistive silicon pressure sensors offer a digital output for reading pressure over specified full-scale pressure spans and temperature ranges. They are calibrated and compensated for sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and non-linearity using an on-board Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC). Key benefits include a very small form factor for portability, wide pressure ranges for ease of use, enhanced performance through reduced conversion requirements and direct microprocessor interface, and a cost-effective, higher volume solution. The sensors are IoT-ready with I2C or SPI-compatible interfaces and feature low power consumption.
