Honeywell's SNG-S Series Speed Sensors utilize a magnetically biased Hall-effect integrated circuit (IC) to accurately detect the movement of ferrous metal targets. These sensors are sealed in rugged, probe-type packages and detect changes in magnetic flux density caused by nearby ferrous metal. They provide a digital pulse output proportional to target speed, making them ideal for applications requiring precise speed measurement. The series offers higher reliability, cost-competitiveness, flexibility, and expedited installation due to features like IP69K rating, robust EMC immunity, and O-ring seals.
