Product Overview
The SS311PT/SS411P are versatile digital Hall-effect position sensors designed to detect alternating North and South poles. These bipolar sensors offer enhanced sensitivity, enabling the use of smaller magnets and reducing system costs. An integrated pull-up resistor simplifies interfacing with common electronic circuits, further minimizing external component requirements. Their economical design makes them suitable for high-volume, cost-sensitive rotary sensing applications. With a supply voltage range of 2.7 Vdc to 7 Vdc, they are ideal for low-voltage applications. The SS311PT features a subminiature SOT-23 surface mount package for compact designs and automated placement, while the SS411P offers a small, leaded TO-92 package for more PCB space. Both are available in tape and reel (SS311PT) or bulk packaging (SS411P).
